When Moments Drop.....

Moist, heavy and cold
Thus the breeze blows
A drop of dew glows
Freshly fallen from an eye

Sounds of silence roar
Breakers batter the shore
The wall can take no more
Salt has eaten its core

Too much time has passed
With a load of nothings amassed
The weight that doesn't pain
But signs of hurt remain

The ghosts of yesterday
Haunt the woods today
In twisted trails of mind
Hide and seek they play

Tough to still withstand
The humble castle of sand
Crumbles upon its weight
Gives up the fight with fate

Inside the rusty clock
Times have come to a stop
A pair of sleepless eyes
Just watch the moments drop
