Open awhile your precious vault
I need some water and some salt
My eyes dried up as you may see
For long you haven't looked at me
You dance along with ocean breeze
In hue of blue for eyes to please
When it comes to me you go blind
I've heard before that you were kind
Times many I've stood in pain
With heartfelt plead but all in vain
You've not bestowed your famous care
And yet I hear that you are fair
I've seen your tides both low and high
And leapt with joy when you met the sky
I've sailed along your changing hue
You turned away when I wept for you
You are vast enough to hold it all
I might not I am way too small
The indifference in the way you treat
Parched and drained I bear the heat
Within the depths of your ocean's pride
Is a drop somewhere where I reside
You still don't hear the sound of cries
Just a few tear-drops I need for my eyes
I need some water and some salt
My eyes dried up as you may see
For long you haven't looked at me
You dance along with ocean breeze
In hue of blue for eyes to please
When it comes to me you go blind
I've heard before that you were kind
Times many I've stood in pain
With heartfelt plead but all in vain
You've not bestowed your famous care
And yet I hear that you are fair
I've seen your tides both low and high
And leapt with joy when you met the sky
I've sailed along your changing hue
You turned away when I wept for you
You are vast enough to hold it all
I might not I am way too small
The indifference in the way you treat
Parched and drained I bear the heat
Within the depths of your ocean's pride
Is a drop somewhere where I reside
You still don't hear the sound of cries
Just a few tear-drops I need for my eyes
