Ocean And The Mountain Stream...

Deep within an ocean's heart
A mountain stream woke up with start
She looked around and made no sense
She could not see her existence

She thought about those jovial days
When she ran across in careless ways
The bustling speed that she once had
In dark and deep the stream felt sad

She looked behind as she grew up
And gently flew with grace enough
The stream had turned in a river mature
Today she cried for her times before

Back those days she had a name
Across the lands she shone in fame
With wants many men prayed at her shore
Now she knew she is known no more

Seeing her pain the ocean said
In warmth of  my heart why tears you shed
It was your wish to merge in sea
You  dreamt to be as vast as me

They gave you name of their desire
So that you burn as their longing's fire
I sat in wait for your dream to be true
You were lost in land I prayed for you

In parched summers you were in pain
I quickly sent you all my rain
You flooded the lands in your fury's best
I became your home so you take some rest

Why don't you see now your existence
This thought of yours is a mere pretence
Don't you see the fact that is true
There is nothing in me apart from you
