In silence abyss no words to say
The worldly thoughts have gone astray
In pristine light at end of day
A lonely heart kneels down to pray
In shroud of dusk and no one near
He lights up faith along with fear
In whispering sounds no one can hear
He sheds a smile and drops of tear
In remains of what were fame and pride
With a stash of honour strewn aside
He closes eyes for grief to hide
And weeps to the winds of countryside
With drooping eyes and folded hands
Kneeling down on scorching sands
He tells the mind what heart demands
Some stream to feed the barren lands
For dried up well of an earthly eye
He prays for rains from rusty sky
To the parting breath in a silent sigh
He asks to leave with a passer by
Thus everyday with hopes anew
In dawn and dusk for moments few
With heart devoid of shade and hue
He just kneels down and prays for you
The worldly thoughts have gone astray
In pristine light at end of day
A lonely heart kneels down to pray
In shroud of dusk and no one near
He lights up faith along with fear
In whispering sounds no one can hear
He sheds a smile and drops of tear
In remains of what were fame and pride
With a stash of honour strewn aside
He closes eyes for grief to hide
And weeps to the winds of countryside
With drooping eyes and folded hands
Kneeling down on scorching sands
He tells the mind what heart demands
Some stream to feed the barren lands
For dried up well of an earthly eye
He prays for rains from rusty sky
To the parting breath in a silent sigh
He asks to leave with a passer by
Thus everyday with hopes anew
In dawn and dusk for moments few
With heart devoid of shade and hue
He just kneels down and prays for you
